Kosovo je Bolna Rana

This song is about the current situation regarding Kosovo and that it sits as a painful wound on the Serbian nation and its’ soul.

The eagle is used as a metaphor representing an overseer of Kosovo as it swoops and surveys every house in Kosovo as a sharp reminder that it is ready for the day of reckoning when Kosovo will be returned to Serbia.

The English translation is:

Kosovo is a painful wound

The eagle swooped low

Spreading its wings and speaking

I was born there, everything is mine

I’m not giving it away and I'm not afraid

Chorus

It has always been Serbian

Through the centuries from Lazar

Kosovo is a painful wound

There will be days for reckoning

He flew to the heights

To see all of Kosovo

Every house has an eagle

A Serbian woman is the mother of all

Chorus

Of eagles and children

The Krajisnici will all go

To the sanctuaries to defend their own

To defend all three colors

Chorus
