This song is about the mysterious woman who has captivated (the imagination) of our protagonist. One could easily say that he is obsessed with her.
Basically the song is about a guy telling his mother about this beautiful woman…
He’s telling his mother that he loves this particular woman – that it’s a secret – and that he can love no other since his heart wants only her.
The chorus states:
She is lovely like a dream
I don’t know her name
But I can’t live without this unknown woman
The subsequent verses expand on his obsession by stating that she just appeared in front of his eyes and that her beautiful voice is intoxicating. His heart sighs whenever he sees her slender figure. Finally, he concludes that he never knew what love was until he saw this woman and that he would give everything he owns to this unknown, beautiful woman.
